A question Dr. Wu as recently asked, but not placed on the Breast Augmentation FAQ website is: Does those breast enlargement pills (Breast Success, Breast Gain Plus, BE pill, Herbal breast enlargement, breast enhancement cream) work? The answer is no in general; however for some there may be a very small change - but this gain is a rarity. Please don't waste your money and risk your health. The cost of these pills and creams are not cheap either.
The location of our main office is in Modesto, CA. We would like to offer patients in Stockton, a more private place to have their consultation and breast surgeries. We have seen many Modesto patients go to Stockton for the same reason - to have more privacy when having breast augmentation surgery. The idea for marketing our services to Stockton was fueled by seeing advertisements in Modesto by Stockton Plastic Surgeons. We figured, it could work the other way. We were also encouraged to reach out by our patients from Stockton and by our colleagues. We understand the need for going out of town for surgery, especially if you are very well known in Stockton. It may also be that you work in the medical profession in Stockton and need a different place to have your surgery, as you are friends with most medical doctors, nurses, and assistants in your own town. We do not have a satellite office in Stockton, but many of our patients are from Stockton and if the demand is high enough, we may consider having a Stockton Plastic Surgery office. Modesto is right next door to Stockton. Furthermore, we could provide a second opinion on plastic surgery. We will make every attempt to make your trip from Stockton worth the effort.

How does one go about selecting a plastic surgeon? There are many reasons and we believe that one of the most important ones is comfort level. There are a multitude of components that provide such a comfort level between patient and doctor.
Confidence in the doctor is one of the factors that contribute to a patient's comfort level. Dr. Wu is board certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. She graduated as the top graduating female medical student in her Ivy League medical school (Brown University). She went to a top Plastic Surgery training program at Southern Illinois University. Many famous Plastic Surgeons graduated from that program. For example the current president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is an Alumni of Southern Illinois University.
Communication is another important item. Dr. Wu emphasizes patient education and spends much time with the patient making sure that all questions are answered. It's not uncommon for Dr. Wu to spend over an hour face to face with her breast augmentation consultations with each patient. Dr. Wu is also involved in educating medical students and residents. This involves the highest level of knowledge and communication to teach new doctors. She is a assistant professor with UC Davis.
Safety is another contributor to your overall comfort with your doctor. Dr. Wu performs her plastic surgeries/breast augmentations in fully accredited operating rooms run by hospitals. We currently do not perform surgeries in our office. We also use board certified anesthesiology doctors rather than nurses to perform the anesthesia to make you comfortable during your surgery.
